Tucson Medical Center's Grow Well Summer Camp
"Food, Fur and Fitness"
Food fuels our bodies, fun activities keep us fit, and animals fed the playful part of our spirits to keep our hearts happy and well.
Cooking Camp - "Taste" is not the only way we interact with food: we actually use all of our senses when we cook and eat. Kids will create colorful plates of food, hunt through a sea of scents in the fresh herb garden, and learn to appreciate the crunch and squish of different foods. At the end of the week, kids will have experienced food and eating in a new way.
